These forms were cut from and inspired by the naturally patinated roof of the architecturally historic Unitarian Meeting House in Madison, Wisconsin. A large portion of this architectural masterpiece was being re-roofed and many of the copper sheets were acquired and repurposed by Le Danse to create a limited edition line of jewelry. In addition to the natural beauty of the patinated copper, the material itself is historically and culturally significant. The copper forms are wrapped in sterling silver, many designs adorned with freshwater pearls. A portion of all proceeds is donated to help the homeless and foster hope for the future.
